On Wednesday June 5th, Irish politicians will be provided with a cross party briefing on the subject of applied behaviour analysis and its benefits when applied to working with children and young people with Autism in an educational setting.
Professor Julian Leslie of the Psychological Society of Ireland’s Division of Behaviour Analysis and Dr Neil Martin from the European Association for Behaviour Analysis will brief those in attendance and provide advice on how current governmental policies can be improved using evidenced based behavioural methods.*
If you would like your TD or senator to attend, please inform them that the briefing will take place in the AV Room at 4pm.
* Professor Mickey Keenan of the University of Ulster was also invited to speak to those attending the cross-party briefing. For more information about Professor Keenan and the other speakers’ presentations, please see our report on the briefing.
